Taco Bell may have another potato side complementing its signature Nacho Fries. The chain is currently testing Breakfast Tots in the Midwest, a potential stepping stone into an expansion of the chain's breakfast menu. The item uses crispy fried potato tots as its base and is topped with eggs, cheese, creamy jalapeno sauce, and the chain's three-cheese blend. On top of that, purchasers can choose to have sausage or bacon included in the dish as well.

According to the initial report from ChewBoom, the Breakfast Tots are currently only being tested at Taco Bell locations in and around Chicago. The going price for either the sausage or bacon version is $3.49 and you can upgrade to steak for $4.49. A lunch and dinner option is also available in the form of Nacho Tots, the tots with a side of cheese sauce to dip in.

News of Breakfast Tots comes right after the chain announced the annual return of Nacho Fries. This time around, the chain is even selling a Nacho Fries subscription pass, similar to the taco pass the chain has previously offered.

Actor Jamie Foxx is being sued for an alleged sexual assault. According to Variety, the actor is being sued by a woman identified in the suit as Jane Doe over an incident that occurred at a rooftop bar in New York City in 2015. The suit, which was filed on Wednesday, is seeking compensation for pain, suffering, emotional distress, anxiety, and humiliation and also alleges the plaintiff had to seek medical treatment from the incident. In addition to Foxx, the suit also names the bar Catch NYC, it's employees and co-founder of Catch Hospitality Group Mark Birnbaum as defendants. The plaintiff is seeking a trial by jury.

The suit is one of several being filed under New York's Adult Survivor's Act. The act, which was enacted in May 2022, amends New York state law to allow alleged victims of sexual offenses for which the statute of limitations has lapsed to file civil suits for a one-year period running from November 24, 2022, to November 24, 2023. New York had previously extended the statute of limitations for civil suits arising from sex crimes against adults from 3 years to 20 years, but it was not a retroactive extension. The Adult Survivor's Act (ASA) was enacted to allow for sex crimes not covered by the new statute of limitations to be covered for a set period of time.

Foxx is not the only high-profile figure to face lawsuits under the expiring ASA in recent days. Actor Cuba Gooding Jr., Bill Cosby, and musician Axl Rose were all recently named in complaints. A suit was filed against Sean "Diddy" Combs earlier this month as well. That suit has since been settled.

"The passage of the Adult Survivors Act has allowed victims an opportunity to come forward despite the passage of time and seek redress for the harm they have suffered," Douglas Wigdor, an attorney who is representing the plaintiff in another ASA-related case not connected to Foxx as well as actor Julia Ormond in a suit against Harvey Weinstein told The Hollywood Reporter.

Foxx has most recently been in the news for his recovery from an unexpected hospitalization earlier this year for what was characterized as a "medical complication". At the time of this article's writing, Foxx has not commented on the current lawsuit.

If the government continues shielding the truth about aliens from the public, one retired Army officer says the results will be quite catastrophic. Retired Army Col. Karl Nell made the comments at a recent UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomena) symposium held by the Sol Foundation, a new nonprofit established aiming to reach disclosure. According to The Daily Mail, an outlet invited to the event, Nell said the United States government should release what it can before the "catastrophic event" that'd take place if a foreign country were to disclose it first.

At the event, Nell said disclosure should take place by 2030, and he hopes the members of the Sol Foundation are able to help the government and society alike move on from such a revelation. In addition to Nell, the staff at the Sol Foundation also former intelligence officer David Grusch, who's now the non-profit's chief operating officer.

"Let us advocate for transparency, not for ourselves," Grusch said at the event, "but for the generations to come, as we embark on a journey toward a more enlightened and interconnected world."

Grusch has found himself as one of the most prominent pro-disclosure advocates, largely thanks to his involvement in a wildly divisive UAP hearing before the House Oversight Committee earlier this year. At the hearing, Grusch testified the United States government is in possession of "non-human biologics."

"As I've stated publicly already ... biologics came with some of these recoveries, yeah," Grusch said in response to a question from Rep. Nancy Mace (R-NC). When pressed on if those biologics were human or extraterrestrial, the official confirmed "non-human" biologics are what have been recovered from certain UFO crashes.

The 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be making some strange history, as it will mark the debut of the first-ever balloon to be themed after NFT characters: Cool Cats.

In a press release today, the Web3 company Cool Cats Group hyped their brand characters Blue Cat and his friend Chugs the milk carton making their way into the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

"This is a big moment for me as an artist and as the founder of Cool Cats," Cool Cats creator and founder, Clon, said in a statement. "Personally, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has always been an important event in my family and it holds a lot of memories. Being able to showcase my artwork alongside some of the world's most recognizable characters is a dream come true. It means even more to me that we are participating in this monumental event due to the support of our Cool Cats community. Blue Cat and Chugs will be flying high and I'm excited to see new fans engage with our characters as we look ahead to an exciting new year for our brand."

No doubt there will be some humor in the fact that the Cool Cats NFT brand is being featured in the parade - in the same year when many financial analysts claimed that the NFT market had "crashed."

It was just a few short years ago when Popeyes effectively launched the Chicken Sandwich Wars with its mega-viral, incredibly popular version of the fried sammie. Wednesday, Popeyes announced its Crashing the Wings Party campaign, which includes the return of two fan-favorite wing flavors plus three all-new sauce varities. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 introduced Choso's bloody abilities to the anime series, and one awesome cosplay is helping to show off why the Death Painting Womb is such a deadly fighter! Jujutsu Kaisen's first season introduced the Death Painting Wombs with its final arc, but it wasn't until Season 2 that we saw just how powerful each of them could be. Aiming straight for Yuji Itadori after killing his brothers in the first season, Choso kicked off a bloody fight against Yuji in Season 2 of the series in one of the fiercest bouts of the Shibuya Incident arc overall.

Jujutsu Kaisen even ended this fight with Yuji's definitive loss, and he would have been killed at Choso's hands if not for a wild moment in which Choso had imagined Yuji as one of his brothers with memories that never quite happened. But this is far from the last we'll see from Choso as Jujutsu Kaisen's anime continues, and it's clear he made an impact with his full debut in the anime thanks to artists such as ekv___ on Instagram bringing the Death Painting Womb to life through cosplay. How to Watch Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

There's still a few things to look forward to from the Shibuya Incident arc as Jujutsu Kaisen continues through the Fall, and you can currently catch up with everything that's happened in Jujutsu Kaisen's first two seasons so far (and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie) now streaming with Crunchyroll if you wanted to get up to speed. Scream 7 director Christopher Landon is breaking his silence on Melissa Barrera's firing from the film. On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Barrera, who has become the face of the revitalized Scream franchise having appeared in 2022's Scream and this year's Scream VI as Sam Carpenter, had been dropped from the franchise following social media posts in the wake of the Israel-Hamas War. Now, Landon is responding to the news with a short statement that reads, in part "everything sucks."

"This is my statement: Everything sucks. Stop yelling. This was not my decision to make," Landon wrote in a now-deleted post on social media along with a broken heart emoji.

Barrera has been vocal on social media when it comes to the Israel-Hamas War, comparing the conditions in Gaza to a concentration camp in one Instagram story.

"Gaza is currently being treated like a concentration camp," Barrera wrote. "Cornering everyone together, with no where to go, no electricity no water ... People have learnt nothing from our histories. And just like our histories, people are still silently watching it all happen. THIS IS GENOCIDE & ETHNIC CLEANSING."

Spyglass, the studio behind the Scream films, has also released a statement about Barrera's firing (via Discussing Film).

"We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech."

Landon was announced to directing Scream 7 earlier this year with the Happy Death Day director taking over from Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who directed both Scream (2022) and Scream VI.

"It came out of the blue for me," Landon said of the Scream 7 job. "My understanding is that there were conversations happening for some time. But I think it was just an opportunity that really arose because the other directors who did the last two films, Tyler and Matt, they wanted to do something else. They were ready to kind of do something different. That's when they obviously had to find someone new, and I've known Kevin Williamson, who wrote the original film, for a long, long time and he's a friend. I think he threw my name into the hat and everybody kind of said, 'Yeah, that makes sense. That seems to make sense.' And I was just thrilled that I got that call because it felt very, it felt like kismet, it felt like a thing that like was always meant to be."

As for how Scream 7 will address Barrera's exit as Sam, that remains to be seen. The film is still in development, though Scream VI did see Sam's sister, Tara -- played by Wednesday star Jenna Ortega -- play a major role which could present the franchise an opportunity to shift.

Scream V and Scream VI are streaming on Paramount+. Scream 7 is in development.

Fan-favorite The Good Doctor actor Hill Harper will not be returning to the series for Season 7 because he's running for U.S. Senate. According to Harper's campaign spokesperson, the actor is "dedicating his efforts full time" to fixing what he sees as a crisis in American democracy (via TVLine). Harper is running for office in the state of Michigan and is challenging Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin for the seat of outgoing senator Debbie Stabenow. Hill initially announced is candidacy earlier this year.

"Hill Harper feels strongly that there is a crisis in American democracy -- too often, government only works for the rich and powerful while the rest of us struggle to find a voice," the spokesperson said. "Hill is dedicating his efforts full time to fixing that, and he's running for the U.S. Senate as an active union member to give working people more of a voice in Congress."

Harper has played Dr. Marcus Andrew since Season 1 of the ABC series and is one of only three remaining series regulars there from the beginning -- the other two being Freddie Highmore, who plays Dr. Shaun Murphy and Richard Schiff, who plays Dr. Aaron Glassman. The Season 6 finale saw Hill's Dr. Andrews resign as the president of St. Bonaventure. Harper is also not the only cast member not returning for Season 7 of The Good Doctor. ABC Recently Opted Not to Move Forward With The Good Doctor Spinoff

ABC recently announced that they are not moving forward with The Good Doctor spinoff, The Good Lawyer. The series would have centered on a lawyer who struggles with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) played by Kennedy McMann. A backdoor pilot for the series aired on The Good Doctor earlier this year, but a decision about the series has been delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.

What is The Good Doctor about?

In Season 6 of The Good Doctor, as Shaun Murphy (Highmore) becomes a surgical resident at St. Bonaventure Hospital's surgical unit, he faces more responsibility and pressure. He must deal with an attack on the hospital, new residents, and Lea's (Paige Spara) high risk pregnancy, while navigate relationships to become a good leader and dad so that he can maintain his now stable life.

The Good Doctor also stars Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews, Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, Paige Spara as Lea Dilallo, Bria Samon? Henderson as Dr. Jordan Allen, Noah Galvin as Dr. Asher Wolke and Brandon Larracuente as Dr. Daniel Perez. David Shore and Friedman are executive producers and co-showrunners. Netflix is preparing to remove one of its biggest concert movies, and you might need to get ready for it. On Tuesday, the streaming service announced which movies and television shows will be leaving its platform in December of 2023, and it includes one of their previous original releases. Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour, which was released as a Netflix original on December 31, 2018, offers fans a glimpse at Swift's 2018 tour of the same name. The last day to watch Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix will be Saturday, December 30th.

This announcement definitely comes as a surprise to Swifties -- both because of Netflix's exclusive distribution of the film, and because the filmed concert has become a staple of the fandom, especially as Swift's subsequent tour, Loverfest, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Swift is currently embarking on her Eras Tour, which covers her first ten albums and debuted its filmed version in theaters earlier this fall.

Why Is the Reputation Stadium Tour Leaving Netflix?

There could be a number of reasons for Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour being removed from Netflix -- including that the streamer's distribution deal for the movie might simply have lapsed. Some other movies and television shows have left Netflix almost exactly five years after they were last uploaded on the platform, and the Reputation Stadium Tour is being removed almost five years to the day of it being released. It's also worth noting that the Reputation Stadium Tour is one of two Netflix originals focusing on Swift, with the second being her January 2020 documentary Miss Americana. It is unclear at this point if Miss Americana will also leave Netflix once that five-year window has lapsed.

In recent years, Swift has also publicly slammed Netflix, after a "deeply sexist" joke in their original series Ginny & Georgia addressed her love life. There is a possibility that Swift could make a new deal for the Reputation Stadium Tour to stream on another platform, as she has worked with Disney+ on the 2020 documentary folklore: the long pond studio sessions. It's also worth mentioning the fact that Swift rerecording her first six albums, with many theorizing that reputation will be the next re-recording to be released. If that does prove to be true, that could add a whole new wrinkle to the streaming home of the Reputation Stadium Tour.

What Is Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Movie About?

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour is a filmed version of Swift's landmark Eras Tour, which completed its first U.S. leg in August. Filmed across three nights of shows in Los Angeles' Sofi Stadium, the film will showcase Swift's performance of songs from all ten of her albums -- Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, reputation, Lover, folklore, evermore, and Midnights. In celebration of the movie's release, AMC upgraded its ticket-booking capacity by five times to account for fan demand. It also priced standard adult tickets at $19.89 -- a reference to the year Swift was born, as well as her fifth album 1989 -- with children's and senior tickets at $13.13, which is a reference to Swift's lucky number.

Yellowstone star Kevin Costner has a new coffee. The Academy Award winning actor has teamed up with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters for a new series of coffee blends with the first variety, Horizon Blend by Kevin Costner, set to debut next month. According to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the blend is a bold and smoky dark roast inspired by the American West.

"Alongside the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters team, we embarked on a journey of exploration, experimenting with various concepts. They were able to help guide me through the process where my opinion was valued and incorporated. It was the best outcome I could have imagined," Costner said in a statement.

The actor worked with Green Mountain directly to create the blend which is said to be grounded in his own, personal coffee taste but also will appeal to a wide range of coffee lovers. The brand also noted that the coffee needed to be able to function as a base for Costner's favorite drink, a cafe mocha.

"Kevin is an icon both on-and-off the screen," said Becky Opdyke, Senior Vice President, Coffee Marketing at Keurig Dr Pepper. "Whether he is creating and sharing stories through film and television or working on environmental conservation, he goes all in on his passions. The new Horizon Blend by Kevin Costner will be available online at Keurig.com starting December 18, 2023 and will roll out to select retailers nationwide starting in January.

Kevin Costner's Horizon: An American Saga Recently Got Release Dates

A new coffee blend isn't the only thing that fans of Costner have to look forward to in 2024. A recently released teaser revealed not only a new look at his upcoming films, Horizon: An American Saga, which is broken into Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 and Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 2, but also confirmed their release dates as well. Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 will hit theaters on June 28, 2024 and Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 2 will be released on August 16, 2024.

Game of Thrones fans have been waiting more than a decade for the penultimate installment of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels the hit HBO television series was based upon, The Winds of Winter and now the author has an update on the eagerly-anticipated novel -- but it's not a good one. In a recent appearance on Bangcast (via IGN), Martin admitted that he only has 1100 pages written and hundreds more to go and even suggested that he should have written smaller books.

"The main thing I'm actually writing, of course, is the same thing... I wish I could write as fast as [The last Kingdom author Bernard Cornwell] but I'm 12 years late on this damn novel and I'm struggling with it," Martin said after acknowledging he's made very little progress in the last year. "I have like 1100 pages written but I still have hundreds more pages to go. It's a big mother of a book for whatever reason. Maybe I should've started writing smaller books when I began this but it's tough. That's the main thing that dominates most of my working life."

This latest updated from Martin puts progress on the novel pretty much exactly where it was at his December 2022 update when he indicated that he had "another 400, 500 pages" to finish before concluding the novel.

The Game of Thrones Jon Snow Spinoff Recently Also Had a Disappointing Update

The books aren't the only source of disappointing updates for Game of Thrones fans lately, either. HBO exec Casey Bloys recently confirmed that the previously announced Jon Snow spinoff that was in development has yet to be officially greenlit.

"We always have Game of Thrones scripts in development. We greenlit [A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight] in the spring," HBO CEO and chairman Bloys recently shared, per TVLine. "I wouldn't say there is anything else in that world that is close to a green light or anything, but we are always working on different scripts and ideas."

The Jon Snow spinoff would focus on Kit Harington's fan-favorite character, who learned his true identity as Aegon Targaryen, the heir to the Iron Throne, in the final season of Game of Thrones. In the finale, after killing Daenerys, Jon ended up in a life of exile with the Night's Watch and returns to Castle Black and leads the wildlings to return to their lands beyond the Wall. The spinoff series was first announced back in June 2022, though few details about the project have emerged, though the series is said to focus on what came after the events of the Game of Thrones series finale.

Attack on Titan's anime came to an end after ten long years from the premiere of its very first episode, and an awesome Mikasa Ackerman cosplay is helping to honor the anime's final episode! Attack on Titan's original manga run came to an end some time ago, but fans had been holding out to see how the anime would approach the final moments of Hajime Isayama's original manga. Considering how the manga's ending was adjusted to feature new materials after its initial release, the anime's final episode was able to take this even further with the full epilogue showing how Mikasa and everyone else went on to live after the fight with Eren Yeager.

Attack on Titan's final episode featured some big moments for Mikasa before it all came to an end as she was needed to deliver the final blow to Eren himself. Through the finale she had been struggling with her desires to save Eren yet defeat him, and it's this struggle that's brought perfectly to life with artist mimisemaan on TikTok showing off a pitch perfect take on Mikasa from the anime's finale. Deadpool 3 star Ryan Reynolds isn't missing a chance to use a real-life event to promote the brand - and that moment presented itself this past weekend, when Formula 1 (F1) driver Esteban Ocon made Deadpool a part of his own brand, during a race at the Las Vegas Grand Prix:

"The Deadpool and Fast franchise crossover no one asked for..." Reynolds wrote in the caption to the video, sparking an entire thread of Marvel fans pitching Titles and concepts for what a crossover between Deadpool and Fast & Furious would be.

The Alpine F1 team and Ocon Esteban just broke through to a whole new level of fame, thanks to the sick custom Deadpool helmet the driver is wearing. As you can see in the video, the helmet mimics Wade Wilson/Deadpool's signature mask with its black spots and white eyes, with the mask features positioned just above the visor that Esteban is actually looking through. It's a pretty awesome visual to see on a close-up racing camera - as if Deadpool himself was actually behind the wheel. Scary thought.

All in all, F1 racing is getting a major visibility boost in America this year - thanks to events like the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Major celebrities like Rihanna, Lupita Nyon'o, Cara Delevingne, DJ Steve Aoki, and more all showed up for photo ops, giving even the kind of social media boost needed to snag the attention of those who don't normally pay attention to F1 racing. What Is Deadpool 3 About?

Deadpool 3 will see Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool embark on a wild journey through the Marvel Multiverse alongside Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. While plot details are unknown, rumors are swirling that Deadpool 3 will bring an end to the Fox X-Men Movie Universe, while saving a small selection of characters for Marvel Studios' upcoming culminating event to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Multiverse Saga.

Deadpool 3 will is being directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy) from a script written by Bob's Burgers' Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin. Deadpool and Deadpool 2 writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick reportedly also contributed to the script, which has been hyped by a lot of speculation and exciting teases.

Deadpool 3 is headed back into production after the Actors' Strike. It has a release date of July 26, 2023.

Joss Ackland, a veteran character actors best known for roles in White Mischief and Lethal Weapon, has died. He was 95 years old. According to a statement from his family, Ackland died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones. The actor appeared in more than 130 film and television roles during his long career, and scored a BAFTA nomination in 1987 for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. American audiences likely know him best for villainous roles like Lethal Weapon 2 and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. He also appeared in the first two Mighty Ducks films as Hans, a friend and mentor to Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez).

The actor was born in 1928 in London's Ladbroke Grove area, and grew up in North London. He started his acting career on stage, performing in a number of regional theatre troupes before joining up with London's Old Vic. Ackland started his screen career in 1949, appearing in a number of minor and sometimes uncredited roles for years before becoming a recognizable actor.

"With his distinctive voice and commanding presence, Ackland brought a unique intensity and gravitas to his role," his family said in a statement (via BBC). "He will be remembered as one of Britain's most talented and beloved actors."

Ackland took advantage of that distinctive voice, performing in the 1978 adaptation of Watership Down. He would go on to be incredibly prolific in the 1980s and 1990s, notching dozens of TV and film performances, often in American productions like A Kid in King Arthur's Court, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and 1994's Miracle on 34th Street.

On stage, he also distinguished himself, appearing alongside British legends like Dame Judi Dench and Dame Maggie Smith over the years. Some of his best known roles were in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Evita, and in Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music.

"So very sad to hear actor Joss Ackland, who created the role of Juan Per?n alongside me as Eva Per?n in [Webber and Rice's] original production of Evita, has died," wrote Ackland's co-star Elaine Paige on social media. "A brilliant actor and a simply wonderful person. So kind and supportive."

Ackland was awarded a CBE in 2000 for his long and respected career in acting. He had been married to his wife Rosemary for 51 years before she died in 2002.

Pokimane has been trending on X and other social media platforms all weekend following a recent stream where she addressed the negative reaction to the expensive price of her new cookie brand, Myna. During a recent Twitch stream, Imane "Pokimane" Anys, more specifically, seemingly mocked fans as "idiots" and "broke boys" after they criticized the price of Myna cookies, which are $28 for four, 400g bags. That's $7 a bag. It's a steep price, but Pokimane has defended the price in the past as the cost of using superior ingredients.

That all said, before this recent stream, the release of the cookies was already gobbled up in controversy because of the price point. Pokimane seemingly blasting viewers as idiots and broke boys took this drama and made it explode to one of the biggest talking points on the entire Internet.

"When people are like, 'Oh my god, $28 for cookies?' It's four bags. That's $7 a bag," said Pokimane at the time.. "I know math is hard when you're an idiot but if you're a broke boy just say so."

The reaction to the video above has been so bad it's prompted Pokimane to issue an apology. In this apology the streamers notes that what she said was intended to be a joke, but she realizes it came across as insensitive. She also noted this was specifically said to a single "rude chatter."

"While what I said was 100% intended to be a joke, I see why it came off as insensitive and I apologize for that," reads a recent tweet from Pokimane. "I also understand the current price of the cookies may be expensive for some, and promise we'll continue to consider pricing to keep myna as affordable as possible. I also want to clarify that this was said towards ONE rude chatter, I did not at all intend it to be a general statement or towards my community."

With Pokimane issuing an apology, it's likely this drama will now rapidly dissolve. As for whether the negative attention to the cookie brand will prove to be negative for the brand, only time will tell. Weeks ahead of his resignation, Sean Kirkpatrick--head of the Pentagon's AARO (All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office)--is growing increasingly candid about his work on UFOs. More specifically, Kirkpatrick has finally publicly addressed the allegations of one David Grusch, a former member of the United States intelligence community who came forward earlier this year suggesting the federal government has operated secret UFO and alien-retrieval programs. According to Kirkpatrick, AARO has interviewed at least 40 people as a part of its investigation into the allegations.

"I can't comment on anything he's told other people. The only way we can get anything that he has shared to other people is if he gives permission to them to share it because he's protected under those same laws," Kirkpatrick said in a new interview on NewsNation. "But I have a whole range. I've got almost 40 other people that have come in and provided a lot of rich information that we've been investigating and crossreferencing and researching and trying to figure out the truth. And again, that's what I'm saying."

The official then went on to confirm that some of the findings from said interviews will be included in the first part of a two-part report on the matter.

Grusch was one of three former intelligence-adjacent witnesses that participated in a hearing before a subcommittee of the House Oversight Committee. At the hearing, Grusch testified the United States government is in possession of "non-human biologics."

"As I've stated publicly already ... biologics came with some of these recoveries, yeah," Grusch said in response to a question from Rep. Nancy Mace (R-NC). When pressed on if those biologics were human or extraterrestrial, the official confirmed "non-human" biologics are what have been recovered from certain UFO crashes.

Actor Suzanne Shepherd, best known for her roles in Goodfellas and as Mary DeAngelis, Carmella Soprano's mother in HBO's The Sopranos has died at the age of 89. A representative for Shepherd confirmed her passing, noting that she passed away peacefully at home in New York City on Friday according to Entertainment Weekly. Shepherd is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. A cause of death has not yet been determined, though her daughter, Kate, told TMZ that she had been suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Shepherd was born Suzanne Stern on October 31, 1934, and began her acting career with stage roles. Shepherd wouldn't make her film debut until 1988's Mystic Pizza, in which she played Aunt Tweedy, the aunt of Julia Robert's character. In 1990, she went on to play Karen Hill, the mother of Lorraine Bracco's Karen in Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas. She also appeared in 1997's Lolita and 2000's Requiem for a Dream with her last noted film role being that of Tess in 2023's The Performance.

Shepherd also had a notable television career as well, making appearances on Law & Order and Blue Bloods among many other credits. Her most notable television role was that of Mary DeAngelis on The Sopranos. Shepherd appeared in 20 episodes of the series between 2000 and 2007. Her The Sopranos co-star Ray Abruzzo, who played Little Carmine Lupertazzi, took to Instagram to remember Shepherd as a "force of nature".

"Sad to hear of the passing of Suzanne Shepherd," he wrote. "A force of nature. Actress, teacher. Played Carmella's mother on Sopranos and Karen's mother in Goodfellas."

In addition to her acting roles, Shepherd was also an acting coach in New York for more than four decades and also directed at theaters nationwide. She has an upcoming documentary, A Gift of Fire, about her work teaching.

Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, wife to 39th President of the United States Jimmy Carter, has passed away at the age of 96. According to the Carter Center, Rosalynn Carter died in her home in Georgia on Sunday at 2:10 pm ET. Carter had suffered from dementia and entered hospice care this past Friday.

Carter served alongside her husband when he served as Georgia governor and for his four years as President of the United States. Jimmy served as President from 1977 to 1981 and Rosalynn was very active in addressing mental health and women's heath during that time.

Jimmy Carter, now 99 years old, entered hospice care earlier this year. He and Rosalynn were married for a total of 77 years, the longest of any presidential couple. Following his wife's passing, Jimmy Carter released a statement about his partner of nearly eight decades.

"Rosalynn was my equal partner in everything I ever accomplished," the former President said in a statement. "She gave me wise guidance and encouragement when I needed it. As long as Rosalynn was in the world, I always knew somebody loved and supported me."

Chip Carter, one of Jimmy and Rosalynn's three sons, also released a statement on the former First Lady's passing. "Besides being a loving mother and extraordinary First Lady, my mother was a great humanitarian in her own right," Chip said. "Her life of service and compassion was an example to all Americans. She will be sorely missed not only by our family but by the many people who have better mental health care and access to resources for caregiving today."

In addition to Jimmy and Chip, Carter is survived by her three other children -- Jack, Jeff, and Amy -- as well as 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. As of Sunday afternoon, funeral services haven't yet been announced.

Thanksgiving is next week and that means Christmas is coming up making it the most wonderful time of the year for many and McDonald's is doing their part to make it so, at least when it comes to food. The brand's fan-favorite holiday themed dessert, Holiday Pie is popping up on the menu at some McDonald's locations as of this past Wednesday.

The iconic Holiday Pie was first introduced in 1999 and is a twist on the classic McDonald's apple pie. It features a vanilla custard inside a flaky, buttery crust glazed with sugar and topped with festive rainbow sprinkles. Some fans have previously reported that the limited time offering tastes a bit like the classic apple pie, but it remains a fan favorite that customers look forward to every year this time.

According to NBC Chicago, as has been the case in years past, Holiday Pie will be available at only select McDonald's locations. Fans of the menu offering will want to check local menus to see if it is available there near them. The Holiday Pie will also only be available for a limited time during the holiday season so if you do find it, you'll want to get one sooner rather than later.

In Other McDonald's News

In other McDonald's news, the restaurant chain has just brought back another fan favorite menu item: the McRib. The sandwich, which was given a highly publicized "farewell" tour last year, is back on the menu in select locations.

"It turns out not everyone was ready to say goodbye to the McRib after last year's Farewell Tour," the Golden Arches said in a statement. "While it won't be available nationwide, some lucky fans may find their favorite elusive saucy sandwich at their local McDonald's restaurants this November."

As is the case with the Holiday Pie, fans will want to check their local McDonald's locations to see if it's on the menu.

Robert Pattinson may be expected to return for The Batman sequel, but the actor is doing more than suiting up as the Dark Knight these days. He's also designing furniture. A new profile in Architectural Digest reveals that Pattinson, along with designer Nicole Gordon, has designed a unique, ear-shaped sofa, a project the actor began working on after wrapping filming for 2022's The Batman.

"I started sketching pieces of furniture I thought would make people interact in a playful and informal way," Pattinson said. "They all had disproportionate, oversize elements that were quite fun. And in the process of making some models out of clay, I found that organic overlapping curves had a similar effect."

The couch, which has a wooden frame and was engineered to support people without toppling over despite its unique shape, is similar to an ear in its design. It also features a pink onyx base and matching embedded drink trays on either arm rest. According to Architectural Digest, once the sofa was completed, Gordon encouraged Pattinson to sell a limited series of the design. It is now on display at JF Chen in Los Angeles with JF Chen selling six, made-to-order pieces. Pattinson also revealed that while he's now designing unique sofas, he's come a long way from the worst -- and his favorite -- sofa that he's had: an inflatable boat.

"There was a time when the only piece of furniture I had for about six months was an inflatable boat that would double as my couch, bed, and dining table. I loved it very much, but it caused a lot of back problems," Pattinson said.

What Do We Know About The Batman 2?

At the moment, not a lot is known about The Batman sequel. Earlier this year, DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn confirmed that the project is in the works with The Batman -- Part II having an anticipated release date of October 2025. Meanwhile another project set in the same universe, spinoff series The Penguin, is expected to debut sometime in Fall 2024. HBO and Max studio executive Casey Bloys says that the show is one that could help fight superhero fatigue.

"I don't know that it's necessarily tentpole fatigue as much as it is a sameness of storytelling," Bloys explained. "I think the key, even within DC, is trying to tell different stories in different styles, to not try to do the same show over and over and over again. I would say Peacemaker is a very different show tonally than The Penguin. So, there's not a uniformity to the storytelling and I think that helps. Unfortunately, Marvel, as good as their shows are, there's probably been a lot of them. That's one of the advantages we have at Warner Bros. is it's not just one set of stories. There's a lot of stories you can go to."

The next Coheed and Cambria album, Vaxis - Act III, is on the way, says frontman Claudio Sanchez. That's not all that surprising. Sanchez has long said that the Vaxis, the sequel to The Amory Wars story, is a pentalogy. The saga began with Vaxis - Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures in 2018, introducing new lead characters Sister Spider and Nostrand. Vaxis - Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind followed in 2022, continuing their story and delving into the mind of their son, the story's title character, Vaxis. When ComicBook.com spoke to Sanchez about the crowdfunding campaign for The Amory Wars: No World for Tomorrow, adapting The Amory Wars' finale into comic book form, he also confirmed that work on Vaxis - Act III is coming along, but there's still a way to go.

"Vaxis III is very much percolating as well, and next year we'll probably do some preliminary touring that'll lead to a release," Sanchez said. "I'm not sure exactly when that release is because there still is a lot of work to do in terms of recording it and illustrating the novella. We've started down those paths, but they take some time, as well as writing the novella, of course. Things are going to happen hopefully in the next year or so."

Sanchez confirmed that he and his wife, co-writer Chonda Echert, have been splitting their time between scripting the No World for Tomorrow comic book and developing the story for Vaxis - Act III. While that can be tricky, Sanchez also said that it has allowed him to ensure that these stories resonate with one another.

"[W]hat makes No World so exciting to see now come out is its connection to subsequent stories like Vaxis III and the first story, Year of the Black Rainbow, as well as the connection to The Afterman because the last record has that Incredible Hulk #180 ending, where you have the Wolverine silhouette in the doorway, but this is the Afterman making an appearance at the end of Vaxis II in a very Wolverine fashion -- though not a silhouette, you see him but it feels like that to me," Sanchez explains. "All these stories are now going to make so much sense when they come out once No World starts and Vaxis III happens, and with the idea of adapting Year of the Black Rainbow, everything is going to connect so much more than it's ever before. That's thrilling to me because it's going to be a domino effect of 'this is all making so much sense to me' and I can't wait to see how it ends with Vaxis IV and V."

Coheed and Cambria playing When We Were Young 2024

In addition to preliminary plans for Vaxis - Act III, Sanchez and his bandmates in Coheed and Cambria (guitarist Travis Stever, drummer Josh Eppard, and bassist Zach Cooper) are headed to 2024's When Were Were Young festival, playing the celebration of early 2000s emo, pop-punk, and post-hardcore for the first time as it enters its third year as an annual event. Coheed and Cambria will play the entirety of their third studio album, Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, at the event. The album has a 77-minute runtime and includes Coheed and Cambria's best-known single, "Welcome Home."

My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy are headlining 2024's When We Were Young festival. Tickets for the event go on sale on November 24th.

Simu Liu might be best known for his starring roles in Shang-Chi and Barbie, but he is officially branching out into a new corner of the entertainment industry. On Friday, Liu released ANXIOUS-AVOIDANT, his first EP of music. The four-song EP consists of 'Don't", "If It's Time", "Warm", and "Break My Heart", which is co-written with the Jonas Brothers' Joe Jonas.

What Will Shang-Chi 2 Be About?

Liu is expected to reprise his role as Shang-Chi in a sequel, which has been confirmed to be in development at Marvel Studios. While a title, synopsis, or other plot points surrounding Shang-Chi 2 remain a mystery, Liu previously hinted that the sequel would further expand the mythos, and hopefully include as much of its ensemble cast as possible.

"Going into a sequel feels exciting. It doesn't necessarily feel like there's a pressure to perform or a pressure to exceed," Liu told Collider earlier this year. "It feels like we've established a world and there's just something really nostalgic and exciting about returning to that world that we've spent so much time ideating on and thinking about. And then, we're getting to revisit some things, but also show the viewer new things. We'll deliver all of the amazing action that we were celebrated for on the first movie, but then also hopefully explore new sides of Shaun's character and the characters around him. That is, of course, if we can still afford Michelle Yeoh. She's on top of the world and just the queen of everything."

Will Shang-Chi Appear in Avengers 5?

With Shang-Chi's Destin Daniel Cretton set to helm Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, fans have naturally begun to wonder if Liu will reprise his role in that film as well. While speaking to ComicBook.com last year, Liu responded to that speculation by saying, "I would think so...I would hope so. Don't take my word for it."

"It feels incredible. I obviously learned about the news a little bit before the rest of the world did, but I freaked out," Liu told ComicBook.com in late 2022. "I sent him like forty texts in a row, all exclamation marks. I'm just so incredibly happy for him, he's so deserving of that spot. What makes him such a special filmmaker, and I've said this from the beginning even when we were premiering our movie, is his ability to make a $150 million movie really, really small, in the best possible way. I'm really looking forward to what he does on that even grander scale of The Avengers because I think it's easy to maybe get lost in the spectacle of what those movies can be, the vastness and the grandness of it, but if you can maintain the humanity and the human stories, I think that's what will make a movie memorable and special, and I think Destin's got it. I think he's got it and I think he deserves this so much. I'm so excited to get to work for him again."

The Golden Globes have found a new broadcast home. On Friday, it was confirmed that the 2024 Golden Globes will air on CBS, with the telecast scheduled for Sunday, January 7th from 8-11pm ET, following the network's NFL doubleheader. The ceremony will be available to watch both on network television, as well as the Paramount+ and CBS apps. Nominees for the Golden Globes will be announced at a later date, but movie and TV fans will definitely be curious to see who takes home a statue.

This move to CBS comes after NBC elected to not renew its contract with the Golden Globes and the organization behind them, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. That decision was made amid controversy surrounding the HFPA's lack of diversity and inclusion efforts, which began to be criticized at length in 2020.

Why Were the Golden Globes Canceled?

In 2020, the HFPA appeared to respond to complaints about their lack of diversity, backing a reform plan that would begin the search for new executives, begin to set up a hotline for conduct violations, and begin to search for new members, in hopes of diversifying its all-white membership body. The news was quickly lauded as "window-dressing platitudes" by the president of advocacy organization Time's Up, with Netflix, Amazon, and WarnerMedia all announcing that they would cut ties with the HFPA. Multiple high-profile actors also disavowed the organization, with Tom Cruise reportedly returning his three previously-won Golden Globes.

In 2022, the Golden Globes were not broadcast at all, with the event ultimately being held without a red carpet, media, celebrity attendees, presenters, or nominees. Instead, it included select members of the HFPA and various grant recipients tied to the organization.

"Regardless of the next air date of the Golden Globes, implementing transformational changes as quickly -- and as thoughtfully -- as possible remains the top priority for our organization," the statement read in part. "We invite our partners in the industry to the table to work with us on the systemic reform that is long overdue, both in our organization as well as within the industry at large. Our below timeline demonstrates our commitment to achieving these goals with extreme urgency."

What Are the New Golden Globes Categories?

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that two new categories will be added to the Golden Globes going forward, to account for the ever-changing nature of the entertainment industry. These include Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which will highlight movies that made at least $150 million during release and $100 million from domestic box office, as well as Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television.

"The Golden Globes has a rich history of supporting and celebrating the work of comedians, and we're thrilled to honor their brilliance alongside outstanding motion picture and television performances of the year," said Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne. "Additionally, we are proud to recognize the hard work and innovation that goes into making a film that is both a blockbuster and artistically exceptional."

Former Saturday Night Live star Dana Carvey has taken to social media to confirm that his oldest son, Dex Carvey, has passed away. Dana and his wife Paula Zwagerman confirmed the news online following reports that their son had died. Dex Carvey, also a comedian, was 32-years-old. TMZ reported on Dex Carvey's death, revealing that law enforcement and paramedics were called to his home on Wednesday after a 911 call from his girlfriend. He was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. Though the outlet noted that no cause of death was known, Dana Carvey's statement on Dex's death revealed that it was an accidental drug overdose. Carvey's message reads:

"Last night we suffered a terrible tragedy. Our beloved son, Dex, died of an accidental drug overdose. He was 32 years old. Dex packed a lot into those 32 years. He was extremely talented at so many things--music, art, film making; comedy--and pursued all of them passionately. It's not an exaggeration to say that Dex loved life. And when you were with him, you loved life too. He made everything fun. But most of all, he loved his family; his friends and his girlfriend, Kaylee. Dex was a beautiful person. His handmade birthday cards are a treasure. We will miss him forever. To anyone struggling with addiction or who loves someone struggling with addiction, you are in our hearts and prayers."

Dex Carvey had begun to follow in his father's footsteps into comedy, not only appearing on an episode of Saturday Night LIve with his father but opening for him. When Dana filmed his Netflix comedy special Dana Carvey: Straight White Male, 60, Dex opened for him, even joking about his famous father. You can watch his set below. Dex's younger brother Thomas also opened for Dana for the special's taping.

Support for Dana and his family came pouring in after he confirmed the passing of Dex, including some fellow SNL Alusm. "Such devastating news. I'm beyond sorry for your loss. ??," wrote Chris Kattan "I'm so sorry Dana. Sending so much love to you and your family. ?," Vanessa Bayer added. Fellow comedian Tim Dillon posted, "Very sorry for your loss Dana. He was a great kid." Our condoelnces go out to the Carvey family during this difficult time.

Today has been a big day for Frozen fans. After announcing Frozen III back in February, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed today that a fourth installment is also in the works. Iger teased that Disney's Chief Creative Officer and co-director of Frozen and Frozen II, Jennifer Lee, "is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories." As if the news of a fourth Frozen movie wasn't enough, it was also revealed today that World of Frozen is about to open at Disney in Hong Kong. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new Frozen attraction is set to open Monday at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

"[World of Frozen] is going to entirely change the footprint of this theme park, bringing completely new fans and families into the franchise," Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, told THR. He added that he recently toured the attraction with Lee, saying, "To see her walk into this space and be completely immersed and overwhelmed, quite frankly, by what she saw - this is a big deal."

D'Amaro explained that Disney settled on Hong Kong as the location for the new attraction because it "knew that the guests in Asia and in Hong Kong were asking for this" and "we just saw a huge opportunity to do it right here."

Disney fans will be able to see many locations from Frozen, including the North Mountain, Elsa's Ice Palace, Arendelle Castle, Friendship Fountain, and the Clock Tower. The main attractions include Frozen Ever After, "a family-friendly boat ride that immerses guests in the music and world of the films;" Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs,"a high-speed rollercoaster through the landscapes of Arendelle;" and Playhouse in the Woods, "a high-tech interactive show featuring Anna, Elsa, and Olaf."

Will Jennifer Lee Direct Frozen III?

ComicBook.com recently spoke to Lee about the upcoming film, Wish, and asked if directing was still on the table for her considering her current role at Disney.

"Well, I definitely know that I want to go back to filmmaking at some point," Lee explained. "I'm getting older, but I'm not old yet. Depends on who you ask. The Frozens were the only two I got to do, and I never really got to do a film from scratch. Wish is the closest thing to that, because Wreck-It Ralph, I was brought; on Frozen, I was brought on; Zootopia, I was brought on. So that is a hunger for me, and at some point, I definitely will go back. Right now, I'm having so much fun with the new generation. I do get to be a part of every film. I do get to be a part of Frozen. It all feels great. But yeah, it's there. I think I'll know the right moment."

"The only thing I can say is Bob has announced there's more Frozen. And I'll say what we are working on, I am very, very, very excited about. That's all I can say," Lee teased when talking to ComicBook.com in another interview back in September.

After stopping work for 118 days in hopes of a better deal, this year's SAG-AFTRA strike has officially reached a conclusion. Now that productions are starting to pick back up, Kevin Bacon is celebrating in a way only Kevin Bacon can--by cutting loose. In a mega-viral video posted to his Instagram account, Bacon replicated a dance from Footloose to celebrate the joyous occasion.

Footloose is arguably one of Bacon's most popular roles, and that's something he's very well aware of.

"I love it," Bacon told Today last year. "I think it's great. It's like all of those things that you think 'Oh, my gosh, is it ever going to go away?' At a certain point, you have to embrace the beast."

"It was a great gift to be part of that movie," he added. "I certainly took it very seriously when I was doing it and I love that people will still come up and say that they just showed it to their kids."

Why did SAG-AFTRA strike?

Streaming residuals and the use of artificial intelligence were two of the biggest sticking points in ongoing negotiations. Shortly after a new deal was agreed upon by SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP, chief negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland addressed both of the issues.

"We were engaged in a very serious fight with the companies over what was going to happen with respect to the use of generative A.I. to create what we call 'synthetic fake performers,'" Crabtree-Ireland explained earlier this mnth.. "And what the result of that is that number one, we have a provision that requires the companies to get the consent of performers whose facial features are used as part of the creation of such a synthetic -- even if it's more than one performer, even if it's only a part of those recognizable facial features. Number two, the companies are obligated to give us notice anytime that they use generative AI to create a synthetic fake performer, so we'll know about it. And number three, the union has the right to bargain over compensation on behalf of those people, in the event that the companies create any kind of synthetic fake performer."

The 2024 Academy Awards is set to take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024, and when they do, Jimmy Kimmel will be back to host. On Wednesday, it was announced that the late-night star will return to host the 2024 Oscar ceremony, marking his fourth time serving as host for the awards show. Kimmel previously hosted in 2017, 2018, and 2023. Kimmel is now among Whoopi Goldberg and Jack Lemon who each hosted 4 times as well. Only three other people have hosted the awards show more: Johnny Carson five times, Billy Crystal nine times, and Bob Hope 19 times.

Last year, Kimmel hosted after 2022's infamous incident with Will Smith slapping Chris Rock, an event that Kimmel made mention of in his opening monologue. Given that 2023 has been in no small way dominated by both the writers' and actors' strikes in Hollywood, it will be interesting to see what Kimmel's opening monologue for the 95th Academy Awards entails.

Kimmel hosting the 2024 Oscars comes after the 2023 Oscars saw a significant rise in viewership over previous years, outperforming both the 2023 Grammys and Emmys with three-year highs in total viewers. Last year's ceremony also earned a Primetime Emmy Nomination for outstanding variety special (live). The 2024 ceremony is set to be executive produced by Raj Kapoor, Katy Mullan, and Hamish Hamilton. Kapoor will also serve as showrunner. The team for the ceremony will also include creative director Kenny Gravillis, production designers Misty Buckley and Alana Billingsly, red carpet show executive producer David Chamberlin, and red-carpet executive consultants Lisa Love and Raul Avila. The ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theatre.

What Films Are Considered Major Oscar Contenders This Year?

As for what films fans can expect to see nominated for the Oscars, there are a few favorites. Warner Bros.' Barbie and Universal Pictures' Oppenheimer are both expected to be major favorites for the best picture race and in other categories as well. Films such as American Fiction, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, and Poor Things are also expected to be contenders.

As for films that have been popular, but won't be Oscar contenders, both Taylor Swift and Beyonce released concert films this year -- Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce -- but neither are Oscar eligible. According to Academy bylaws, neither film meets criteria for any categories because they aren't considered documentaries by Academy standards.

The 95th Oscars is set to take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Following yesterday's heartfelt post from Matt LeBlanc, a number of Friends cast members took to social media today to share their memories of the late Matthew Perry. Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the long-running series, passed away unexpected in October. The other five series regulars from Friends issued a joint statement at the time, and then stayed more or less under the radar until this week, opting to process their thoughts privately. Last night and today, co-stars Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and David Schwimmer all shared some photos and some feelings. The last Friends to publicly comment was Lisa Kudrow, who rarely uses social media.

The Friends cast worked together for a decade, and in addition to making one of the most successful sitcoms in the history of TV, they set a new standard by collectively bargaining together, demanding equal pay for all six stars and making the series an all-or-nothing endeavor.

Cox, whose character would eventually develop a romantic relationship with Chandler on the show, shared a video clip from the episode where that relationship started up: while in London for Ross's destination wedding, the two hooked up in what should have been a one-off story, but instead transformed into something much more. The studio audience at home got an extra not-safe-for-network joke, courtesy of Perry:

Cox's close relationship with Perry continued after the series ended; the pair would appear together in episodes of Cox's Cougar Town and Perry's Go On, both times having a single-episode "will they or won't they?" romance.

Schwimmer, who played Monica's brother Ross Gellar, posted next, and gave the most Friends-specific caption, complete with Chandler's "could X BE any more Y" catchphrase.

"I will never forget your impeccable comic timing and delivery. You could take a straight line of dialogue and bend it to your will, resulting in something so entirely original and unexpectedly funny it still astonishes," Schwimmer wrote in part. "And you had heart. Which you were generous with, and shared with us, so we could create a family out of six strangers."

The most recent post (as of this writing) is from Aniston, whose post feels the most personal, complete with a screenshot from a text message exchange she had with Perry.

"Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I've never experienced before," Aniston wrote. "We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love. Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel the moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deep."

Last but not least, Lisa Kudrow chimed in this afternoon, sharing a throwback photo from what appears to be the NBC upfronts the year of the Friends pilot.

"Thank you for your open heart in a six way relationship that required compromise. And a lot of 'talking,'" Kudrow wrote in part. "Thank you for showing up at work when you weren't well and then, being completely brilliant."

Kudrow's Phoebe is the character who, at face value, had the least in common with Chandler, so it's easy to assume that she and Perry had to have had a pretty solid creative relationship, or else none of those scenes would have worked. It's that relationship, filled with humor and trust, that permeates her message, seen below:

In addition to his decade on Friends, Perry appeared in the films Fools Rush In, The Whole Nine Yards, and 17 Again. After Friends, he appeared on the cult-favorite Aaron Sorkin show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, a handful of other series that centered on Perry including Go On and Mr. Sunshine, and co-led a revival of The Odd Couple alongside Thomas Lennon for three seasons on CBS.

It's fall and while this time of year is busy with holiday prep and all the new foods and snacks that go into the holiday season, it's also a time of year for cozy treats as well and now Kit Kat is introducing their latest new flavor just in time for cozy season. On Wednesday, Kit Kat announced the debut of the new Kit Kat Chocolate Frosted Donut Flavored Bar. The new flavor, which debuts on November 17th, will be a permanent addition to the Kit Kat lineup.

According to the brand, the new Chocolate Frosted Donut Flavored Bar is a perfect pairing with a warm cup of coffee, making it an excellent cozy treat, but is also perfect for anytime you just need a break. The new flavor is said to deliver the experience of biting into a fresh donut with smooth milk chocolate layered delicately on top of donut flavored creme.

That flavor was an homage to the beloved desert, intended to bring back fond summer memories as it paired the taste of a churro with the crunch of a Kit Kat bar and featured a buttery churro-flavored creme with sugar mixed between the candy's wafers. According to Taco Bell, starting on Thursday, November 16th, the new Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries hit Taco Bell menus. The new item features the brand's seasoned fries topped with a grilled, bubbly blend of mozzarella, monterey pepper jack, and cheddar cheeses and the fries are also topped with marinated and grilled steak, topped off with Taco Bell's signature Nacho Cheese and Chipotle sauces. A spicy version. is also available with added jalapenos. It will be available for $4.99 for a limited time.

As for the Nacho Fries Lover's Pass, it's something of a sequel to the Taco Lover's Pass. Starting now, Rewards Members can unlock the ability to redeem an order of regular Nacho Fries for 30 consecutive days by purchasing the pass for $10 through December 4th.

The Peppermint Frosty is back at Wendy's, and the fast-food chain is giving one out to anyone who is interested. Starting Tuesday, November 14th, Frosty fiends can use the Wendy's app to claim a free small Peppermint Frosty. If ice cream isn't your thing, the chain's also giving away a free small Peppermint Frosty Cold Brew.

Unlike standard free deals, Wendy's isn't forcing you to buy anything to get either of the items for free. They're now available in the app, simply order as you would any other item and you'll get your respective treat for free.

This is the second year the Peppermint Frosty is heading back to stores, having been first introduced during last year's holiday season.

"The Peppermint Frosty is our latest flavor innovation on the iconic Wendy's Frosty that fans have come to know and love for over 50 years," John Li, Vice President of Culinary Innovation for the Wendy's Company, said at the time. "It's the classic thick and creamy Frosty that our fans crave with bursts of fresh peppermint - every sweet bite will put you in the holiday spirit."

"Folks enjoyed the strawberry Frosty enough that we knew it was important to get after another flavor and one that would tie well with the holidays," Wendy's chief marketer Carl Loredo explained. "Peppermint is amazing, and it's a great way to ring in the holiday season."

He added, "It's an accelerated path, but it's something we've been working on for a few years. [Peppermint] was a flavor that we knew consumers liked -- ultimately, the commercialization piece [was an aspect] we needed to finalize quickly, but it's been something we had our minds."

As it stands now, there's no end date on when the Peppermint Frosty is leaving stores. While the free Frosty deal runs through November 19th, the treat itself will likely be at participating Wendy's locations for the next several weeks.

Dillon Danis has announced he has retired from fighting after losing to Logan Paul. The world of fighting is incredibly competitive and arguably a bit toxic, but that's part of the fun. A bunch of personalities and egos rub up against each other until they can pummel each other in front of an audience of millions. While some of it is amped up for the cameras, there are times where things get really personal and escalate beyond fun and games. Earlier this year, we witnessed the long-awaited boxing match between WWE fighter and influencer Logan Paul and MMA fighter Dillon Danis. It was one of the most anticipated match ups in combat sports this year due to Danis' constant taunting, particularly with regards to Paul's fianc?e Nina Agdal. When it came time to put his money where his mouth is, Danis made an underwhelming impression and was made a bit of a fool with his performance in his fight against Paul. Many joked that Danis was unable to land punches and made a mockery out of himself before ultimately losing the fight.

With that said, Dillon Danis has been taking a lot of flack for hyping up a big game for months and then failing to live up to it. He has now taken to X (formally known as Twitter) and announced that he will be retiring from fighting. It's unclear what Danis plans to do from here, as he's only 30 years old. Whether he plans to live off any money he made from fighting or possibly go into content creation on his own is unclear. Either way, it seems his loss against Logan Paul made a pretty big impact on his career. Danis had previously said he planned to retire if the UFC didn't sign him. He noted he is good with the money he made from the Logan Paul fight but would only keep fighting if the UFC would have him. One has to imagine his performance and behavior surrounding the fight could have made it harder for him to secure more fights, especially since he got into legal hot water over some of his comments toward Nina Agdal.

Danis had previously spoken about appealing the decision on the Logan Paul fight and even had aspirations for other fights, but it seems things have come to an end despite obviously being at the peak of infamy. Of course, fighters come out of retirement all of the time, so it's possible Danis will pick up the gloves again in the future. Either way, it is a pretty surprising outcome for the fighter.

One Piece has seen Monkey D. Garp cross paths with Luffy throughout the series so far, and an awesome cosplay has helped to bring the mighty marine to life! Out of all of Luffy's connections, Garp just might be one of the most important as he played a key role in Luffy's upbringing. Though Luffy becoming a pirate is not exactly the path that Garp had wanted for the boy, it's still something he supports (although begrudgingly) as much as he can. It's a dynamic seen further explored in the Netflix live-action series earlier this Summer too.

Garp continues to be one of the most important figures in One Piece's history overall, but there's still so little we actually know about his heroic past (and why he gets away with some of the decisions he makes). There are tons of ways to catch up with One Piece if you wanted to see more of Garp in action. Congressman Joaquin Castro is calling out Warner Bros. Discovery for shelving movies for tax breaks -- and is asking for an investigation into the practice for being predatory and anti-competitive. On social media, Castro responded to the news that Warner Bros. had shelved the fully completed Coyote vs. Acme movie for tax write downs, writing in his post that the practice is like "burning down a building for the insurance money". Warner Bros. announced the shelving of the film late last week. The studio has since put the film on the market for other distributors following backlash.

"The @WBD tactic of scrapping fully made films for tax breaks is predatory and anti-competitive," Castro wrote. "As the Justice Department and @FTC revise their antitrust guidelines they should review this conduct. As someone remarked, it's like burning down a building for the insurance money."

What is Going On With Coyote vs. Acme?

Last week, Warner Bros, Pictures announced that they were shelving the completed Coyote vs. Acme, making it the third film in less than two years that Warner Bros. Discovery had shelved for a tax break, the previous two being Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt. One of the biggest differences between, Coyote vs. Acme and the previously shelved films, however, is that both Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt had been set for release on Max. Coyote vs. Acme had been set for a theatrical release, at one point getting a release date of July 21, 2023, before that date ultimately was given to Barbie.

"With the re-launch of Warner Bros. Pictures Animation in June, the studio has shifted its global strategy to focus on theatrical releases," a WB Motion Picture Group spokesperson said in a statement. "With this new direction, we have made the difficult decision not to move forward with Coyote vs Acme. We have tremendous respect for the filmmakers, casts, and crew, and are grateful for their contributions to the film."

The announcement drew immediate fan backlash and, on Monday, the studio reversed course and allowed the film to be shopped to other distributors with screenings for potential buyers, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple, and Netflix, set to take place sometime this week.

What Is Coyote vs. Acme About?

In Coyote vs. Acme, after every ACME Corporation product backfired on Wile E. Coyote, in his pursuit of the Road Runner, he hires an equally unlucky human attorney to sue the company. When Wile E.'s lawyer finds out that his former law firm's intimidating boss is ACME's CEO, he teams up with Wile E. to win the court case against him. The film was to be based on the fictional The New Yorker article "Coyote v. Acme" by author Ian Frazier, which was published in 1990.

The film stars John Cena (Peacemaker), Lana Condor (To All the Boys I've Loved Before), and Will Forte (Saturday Night Live). DC Studios co-head James Gunn (The Suicide Squad) co-wrote the story and serves as producer.

Friends star Matt LeBlanc took to social media today, sharing his thoughts on the passing of his late co-star Matthew Perry. Perry, who died of a heart attack in October, was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in California earlier this month. Numerous friends, collaborators, and fans have spoken out since his passing, although the Friends cast has been largely quiet, presumably still processing the loss for themselves. Jennifer Aniston has publicly stated that she is struggling following the loss of her friend, something that the cast has been open about so far.

LeBlanc shared a number of photos of the pair working together on Friends over the years. He also wrote a brief but heartfelt statement about the passing of the Go On and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip star.

"It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I'll never forget you," LeBlanc wrote in part. He closes it out with, "And I guess you're keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's anime will be returning for Season 4 in the near future, and one awesome cosplay is getting the Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima ready for his big anime showcase! Introduced together with the rest of the Hashira line up all the way back in Season 1, Gyomei is one of the Hashira fans have yet to see in action in Demon Slayer's anime as of the time of this writing. But that's all going to change as the rest of the Hashira will be mobilizing as Muzan Kibutsuji's Upper Ranks are making a move on their end of the fight as well.

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc teased that the final members of the Upper Ranks will be making their move on Nezuko now that she's become a full target of Muzan himself, and that means it's even more necessary than ever for the Hashira to be ready for the fights to come. What's Next for Demon Slayer Season 4?

Gyomei and the remaining Hashira will be returning to Demon Slayer with Season 4 of the anime now in the works. A release date or window has yet to be revealed for the new episodes as of the time of this writing, but it has been confirmed to be adapting the Hashira Training arc from Koyoharu Gotoge's original Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga when it begins. You can catch up with everything that's happened so far in the first three seasons of the Demon Slayer TV anime and Mugen Train Arc movie now streaming with Crunchyroll.

They tease the Demon Slayer anime as such, "It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a 'demon slayer' so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family."

There's a new streaming platform on the market. First teased earlier this summer, NASA+ has officially launched and is now one of the only free streaming services available. NASA+ features much of the programming NASA TV does, only with the OTT service, it's now on-demand compared to be released on a broadcast schedule.

"We're putting space on demand and at your fingertips with NASA's new streaming platform," Marc Etkind, associate administrator, Office of Communications, NASA Headquarters, said earlier this year. "Transforming our digital presence will help us better tell the stories of how NASA explores the unknown in air and space, inspires through discovery, and innovates for the benefit of humanity."

Like all other streaming platforms, NASA+ is available through most marketplaces. In addition to iOS and Android applications, NASA+ is also available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.

"From exoplanet research to better understanding Earth's climate and the influence of the Sun on our planet along with exploration of the solar system, our new science and flagship websites, as well as forthcoming NASA+ videos, showcases our discovery programs in an interdisciplinary and crosscutting way, ultimately building stronger connections with our visitors and viewers," added Nicky Fox, associate administrator, Science Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters.

Netflix's Queer Eye revival has become something of a phenomenon, tugging on the heartstrings of millions of viewers over the years. Unfortunately, it sounds like the series will be losing one of its Fab Five next year. Bobby Berk, who has been the series' Interior Design-focused co-host, announced via Instagram on Monday that he will be departing the series after its upcoming Season 8. Berk has been with the series since its inception, helping the subjects of Queer Eye episodes with renovating or redecorating their homes. A replacement for Berk has yet to be announced.

"To the Queer Eye Community who have become family to me," Berk's statement reads. "The love that I have received from you all over the last 6 years has been absolutely surreal. You have tuned in and been dedicated fans and together we were able to share the healing powers of design. I learned from you all about kindness, love and acceptance and that has changed my life for the better. The way you have embraced me and accepted me for who I am is something that l will truly carry with me for the rest of my life. Throughout these years, you, the die-hard fans of Queer Eye, have all shared so many stories with me about how the show has touched your lives and I could not be more grateful to each and every one of you for being brave enough to share your experiences. To all our wonderful, loving, amazing, and brave heroes there is so much I want to say, and so much gratitude I want to express to you all for letting me into your homes and hearts. Is Queer Eye Renewed For Season 9?

Just after Berk's departure was announced, reports confirmed that Queer Eye has already been renewed for an upcoming ninth season on Netflix. While those new batch of episodes do not yet have a release date, we do know that Season 9 will move the series from New Orleans to Las Vegas.

At the moment, it is believed that fellow Queer Eye co-hosts Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown and Tan France will continue to appear in Season 9.

Season 8 of Queer Eye will debut exclusively on Netflix on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Kevin Turen, producer of shows like Euphoria and Max's The Idol, has passed away. According to the initial reporting from Deadline, Turen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly over the weekend, and no cause of death is available as of press time. He was 44.

"Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin's greatest passion was his family and friends," Deadline boss and close friend Jay Penske said of Turen. "He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make a difference in the broader world. Our collective heart breaks for them, and we all feel such a profound sense of loss. We will miss Kevin so much, and this town lost one of its brightest rising stars today."

Turen was a frequent collaborator with both Sam Levinson and Ti West, working with the former on Euphoria and Malcom and Marie, while also producing West's X horror trilogy.

After being born and raised in Manhattan, Turen got his Hollywood start producing Larry Clark's Wassup Rockers in 2005. During his career, Turen also served as president of David Goyer's production company Phantom Four.

"Kevin made one I admired with Richard Gere, Arbitrage, and it's the most successful film on VOD, and then All Is Lost. I have a deal at Warner Bros and we talked about bringing on an executive and I met with a lot of people you might characterize as the usual suspects, people who came up in the studio system," Goyer said of Turen's hiring at the time.

He added, "I liked that Kevin didn't come up that way, that he grew up in the independent financing world and has made six or seven films that are the kind of quality pictures I've become excited by. We can still do the tentpoles but also cultivate some of these emerging filmmakers; Kevin has raised so much money for these kinds of films, and we're exploring raising independent money so we can help finance some ourselves and be a port in the storm for some of these emerging filmmakers."

Turen is survived by his wife Evelina and their two kids.

Demon Slayer Season 3 took on the Swordsmith Village arc from Koyoharu Gotoge's original manga series, and with it had Tanjiro and Nezuko taking on their toughest opponents yet with more members of Muzan Kibutsuji's Upper Ranks. But it's likely going to be Nezuko's last real fight in the center of the action.

The end of the third season changed Nezuko in a pretty significant way, so it's highly unlikely that we'll see Nezuko using the full force of her demonic transformation in the future of the anime. Demon Slayer: What's Next for Nezuko?

Nezuko will be returning to the Demon Slayer anime with Season 4 of the series. A release date or window has yet to be revealed for the new episodes as of the time of this writing, but it has been confirmed to be adapting the Hashira Training arc from Koyoharu Gotoge's original Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga when it begins. You can catch up with everything that's happened so far in the first three seasons of the Demon Slayer TV anime and Mugen Train Arc movie now streaming with Crunchyroll.

They tease the Demon Slayer anime as such, "It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a 'demon slayer' so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family."

Anthony Daniels first played C-3PO in Star Wars back in 1977, and he now holds the record for appearing in the most projects in the franchise. In fact, the actor recently made a surprise cameo as the lovable droid in Star Wars: Ahsoka. When you play a character for as long as Daniels has, especially a character in a franchise known for merchandise, you're bound to accumulate a lot of things over the years. Recently, the actor announced he'd be auctioning off nearly 200 items, including C-3PO's head, scripts, and part of the Millenium Falcon.

"I did rescue those pieces of the Millennium Falcon from a bonfire at the back of Elstree Studios after production finished on Return of the Jedi," Daniels recalled while speaking with BBC. "I realized I had these items and they're not unloved but they are unlooked at - we don't have them crowding the sitting room," Daniels explained. "Will I feel sad to part with them? No. I will enjoy the fact people will cherish and display them."

Daniels revealed he will be attending the auction, and feels "very good about it and very excited" about it. "Propstore have beautifully and carefully curated the collection ... In a curious way, it means more to them than it does to me because I have the real memories - I was there."

Anthony Daniels on Appearing in Ahsoka:

Daniels recently took to Instagram to share details about his Ahsoka debut.

"Never thought Threepio would have the honour to appear in the rightly lauded, Ahsoka," Daniels wrote. "So we were both surprised to get a call from the Master himself, Dave Filoni. And then, there we were, enveloped by the utterly compelling FX of The Volume. And there they were, the dedicated crew and the cast of lovely and talented humans, and droids."

He continued, "3PO and I have rarely had such an enthusiastic welcome, nor such loving support throughout our days on set. I hear that fans were moved to tears by seeing their golden friend, once again on screen. I was equally moved by the surprise ovation from the assembled team, as I finally emerged from that iconic figure. Maybe this is a good time to thank them and so many millions, for the love they have shown my friend over so many years. So... on his behalf... Thank you."

Days after Kel Mitchell was admitted to a Los Angeles-area hospital, the actor has revealed what sent him to the emergency room in the first place. According to the All That alum, he started feeling faint and his right arm went numb while running errands. Mitchell says he then drove himself to the emergency room, where he was admitted for an overnight stay.

"For those curious about recent events and my well-being, appreciate the concern and sending love your way. This should bring some clarity," Mitchell said in an Instagram caption shared with a video detailing the events leading up to his hospitalization.

Mitchell starts the video out by saying, "I was out shopping when suddenly the whole room started spinning. So I was like, 'I must be dehydrated so I need to go get some water, some food.' When I did that, the whole right side of my arm was numb, followed by me not being able to swallow. That's when I panicked. And so I drove myself to the hospital."

The actor then goes on to explain that he had a slipped disc in his back, which started affecting his spinal cord.

"It was actually a bulging disc that I had from a prior injury that was pressing up against a nerve, mimicking all those symptoms that I was going through," he adds. "I'm thanking God that I am good. Thank y'all for all the prayers in the comments. Even the crazy ones. I saw the, 'Give him some orange soda in his IV.'"

Mitchell is set to reprise his role as Ed in Paramount+'s upcoming Good Burger sequel later this month.

What Is Good Burger About?

The original '90s sketch first aired on All That in 1994 and was centered around fast-food restaurant Good Burger and its clueless cashier, Ed, played by Kel Mitchell in Seasons 1-5. The feature film Good Burger was released worldwide on July 25, 1997 by Paramount Pictures. Later in the All That revival series in 2019, Mitchell returned guest starring as Ed, working at Good Burger for 20 years as manager of the trainees.

Good Burger 2 premieres exclusively on Paramount+ on November 22nd.
